Description
A gorgeous viscose French Terry fabric adorned with galloping unicorn silhouettes surrounded by large pink, blue and purple stars as well as small gold stars. The background is off white.
This is a rather unusual French Terry fabric made from viscose rather than cotton. The drape is significant. It also has a crepe texture to the right side.
French terry is a fabric similar to jersey, but a little bit heavier. It is smooth on one side and has soft loops of yarn on the other. This type of knit results in a soft, plush texture you can recognise from your comfiest sweatshirts and other loungewear items.
The unicorn bodies are approximately 2in across.
PATTERN SUGGESTIONS
This is a mid-weight knit fabric. Heavier than a classic t-shirt weight, lighter than your thick sweatshirt or jogging bottoms. It’s a perfect trans-seasonal fabric or great for layering. Please be aware that this fabric has a lot of drape which will significantly effect the end result of your chosen project.
Toaster Sweater 2 by Sew House Seven (the grown-on neck will have a cowl-like look to it due to the drape)
Coco Dress by Tilly & The Buttons (the drape of the fabric will make it hang closer to the body than when the Coco is made from a Ponte Roma or sweat shirting)
