Hello and Welcome!

I’m Suzie, avid sew-er (sewist) and long-time lover of fabric. I live in the small village of Ballyholme in Northern and have created Threadquarters as a place to share my love for sewing and fabric. And specifically, fabric from the beautiful island of Ireland.

I have curated a (currently) small supply of beautiful deadstock (which means it was produced for clothing brands but not used by the manufacturer) linen and waxed cottons produced in mills in Northern Ireland.

I am also spreading the love of sewing by offering sewing classes – which I hope to re-launch once the threat of Covid-19 has passed.
