Welcome to Threadquarters Sewing School! Whether you’re picking up a needle and thread for the very first time or looking to build on your sewing skills, you’ll find a class here to suit you. Our studio is a relaxed and welcoming space where creativity thrives, and there’s always plenty of laughter and encouragement.
I believe sewing is one of the most rewarding hobbies you can take up—it’s not just about making clothes or projects; it’s about building confidence, exploring your creativity, and discovering just how much you can achieve with a little guidance and practice.
There are classes for the complete beginner as well as those with more experience. Not sure what class would be suitable, use the colour coded sewing levels to help you choose.
LEVEL 0:
Absolute beginner
LEVEL 1:
Knows how to thread a machine & sew a seam
LEVEL 2:
Has made a few beginner projects such as a lined tote bag or a pair of pjs
LEVEL 3:
Fairly confident making basic garments & would like to develop their skills
LEVEL 4:
Very confident making garments and looking for a challenge
