Choose Fabric For Your Jamie Pyjama Project

Thank you for booking onto the Beginner Dressmaking course!

We will be making the Tilly & The Buttons Jamie Pyjama pattern from a cotton lawn or poplin, which is lovely to sew with and even nicer to wear. For your project you are very welcome to choose a fabric from the Threadquarters shop. I have listed the suitable fabrics below.

Please choose which fabric you would like and send me an email to let me know your selection.

For the Tween/Teen Dressmaking course the fabric included in the course price is enough to make the PJ shorts version. You are welcome to make the full length version you and pay the difference in cost for the extra fabric. Please let me know in your email if you would like to do this. I will need the measurement from waist to floor and normal dress size so that I can work out how much extra fabric will be required (shorts take 1m, full length generally require 2-2.5m).

I’ll have your fabric ready for you to either pick-up from the studio or I can post it out to you.

It’s VERY important to pre-wash your fabric before the first class! Fabric can shrink the first time you wash it, so it is a good habit to always pre-wash BEFORE you spend all that time and effort making your beautiful project.

If you would like to come into the studio to choose your fabric that is absolutely fine. Please just get in touch to arrange a day and time with me. I may have more fabric in-store to choose from than currently on-line too!
