This is an ex-high street dead stock fabric produced in mills in Northern Ireland.
A beautiful rich raspberry pink coloured linen.
The colour of this linen was very hard to capture accurately – the product photo of the single bolt of raspberry linen and also the group shot of with the navy and white linens are the most accurate representation of the true colour.
100% Irish Linen. 150cm / 60in wide
Fabric sold per HALF METRE.
Lightweight Linen lends it’s hand to so many beautiful projects, but may I suggest a few for you:
Bondi Dress by Tesutti Patterns
Kate Top by Tesutti Patterns
Tamiko Pants/Trousers by Tesutti Patterns
Leni Top by Tesutti Patterns
Kalle Shirt by Closet Case Patterns
Maya Top by Marilla Walker
And many MANY more
It is recommended to always pre-wash your fabric prior to starting your project. I would also recommend overlocking or zig-zagging the cut ends before your wash your fabric to help cut down on fraying in the machine.
Linen is best washed at 30 degrees.
Many recommend not to tumble dry Linen, but if you choose to, do it on a low heat and remove it while it is still slightly damp and iron straight away to minimise creasing.
Lots of steam while ironing will also help remove creases.
**Every effort has been made to capture the true colour of this fabric but please bear in mind that colours can be altered by monitors. Please refer to all the product photos provided. I cannot guarantee an exact colour match.**
