What a fabric!!! These very stylish ladies are having a wonderful time, dancing the night away in the rain! This is a really special, very unique fabric. It is water repellant canvas. The front side has a canvas feel and texture to it, while the reverse has the water repellant layer.
150cm / 59in wide.
Well, it’s absolutely calling out to be a raincoat! But totes and bags would also be lovely in this fabric. It is very thick and has no give so don’t pick a pattern with a set-in sleeve, that would be very hard work! Keep the design simple, with few seams, just let the fabric do the talking.

CARE / SEWING TIPS
- No need to pre-wash this fabric. Spot clean with a damp cloth.
- Do not iron (it will melt!). Finger press and/or use a heavy weight to press seams.
- Do not use pins (except in the seam allowance if you must). I recommend pattern weights when cutting out and clips while sewing.
- Use a heavyweight needle, such as Jeans 100. If that proves problematic you could also try a Leather needle.
