With Autumn’s crisp air and vibrant colours just around the corner, there’s no better time to get into the spirit of the season. Imagine your home adorned with these delightful handmade pumpkins, adding a warm and rustic touch to your dΓ©cor. All the materials you need will be provided, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm and a desire to craft something special.

You’ll learn essential sewing and crafting techniques and leave this workshop with three beautiful pumpkins that will be the envy of your friends and family.

THE PROJECT:

In this 2.5hr workshop you will make 3 fabric pumpkins, each a different size, with a brown felt stalk and a wooden button for the underside.

This is not a difficult project and no sewing experience is required. We will be doing a very small amount of machine sewing but actually most of this pumpkin is made with hand stitching.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

  • Three pieces of autumnal themed fabric to make your pumpkins with – pre-cut to size
  • Embroidery floss, felt, stuffing and buttons to make your pumpkins
  • All equipment necessary to make the pumpkins will be provided
  • An instructions sheet so you can go home and make more pumpkins!
  • Tea, coffee, refreshments and treats to keep us going

Nothing, just yourself!

SKILL LEVEL:

Level 0 – no previous experience required

This class is suitable for ages 18 and up. Unfortunately this class is not suitable for children as we will be using very long sharp needles.

LOCATION:

Held in the lovely, bright and spacious Threadquarters studio! 49 Main Street, Bangor, NI. Located on the first floor.
